Behzad Kh. Azari, MD (Iran)
By practicing several years in "Physical Medicine & Rehab" internationally, I was feeling missing something in my practice and it was treatment of my patients by my hands instead of prescribing medications to alleviate their pain or referring them to physio clinics to work on them indirectly , unlike whatever has been mentioned on the title of my specialty field "Physical Medicine".
In fact, I had to ask them different and expensive diagnostic tests from plain X-ray to complicated MRI or Electrodiagnosis, but after catching up the right diagnosis, treating their problems was not on my hands directly. Therefore, after searching among a variety method of treatment, I came up with Osteopathy, a unique, wholistic and gentle method of treatment to improve body function and overall health.
Osteopathy enhances body flexibility, mobility and energy level, reduces stress and muscle tension, and brings about more restful and relaxed sleeping pattern.
Osteopathic intervention can treat arthritis, back and neck pains, headache, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, knee pain, postural problems and it assists nervous system and solve circulatory and lymphatic symptoms.
